Star Blaster - Laser Gun Wars app for iPhone and iPad

For a sci-fi sound effect app, it doesnt get much better than this. Just depends if thats your thing or not. Clean phaser graphic. Nice sounds and a few different options. Could use a few more but we may see that in future updates. Only a buck- cant complain much about price. Does about what you expect!!

I love this thing!!! Great for firing on irritating people in traffic. Wonderful, entertaining stress relief!!!

Great graphics, sounds, animations. Fun to shoot any everything you really shouldnt! :) Would recommend adding another button above or below trigger, trying to determine how to access the extra color/sound was initially confusing, but didnt take long to discover. Sounds kind of like Star Trek! Cant wait to see the next version!

Of the "gun shooting" apps that seem to be popping up, this one is my favorite. It puts a unique sci-fi twist on an idea thats been almost beaten to death, which is refreshing. The graphics and sounds of the app flow seamlessly, with much detail and an obvious amount of time and effort put in by the developer. I love the options for the app, with the three colors as well as motion firing. However, if I could reccommend some things for future updates, it would be that the user has the ability to mix n match the color of the phaser with the kind of beam that comes out. Overall, Id have to say this app is well put together, but there just isnt any depth or practicality from it. I found myself only playing with it for about two minutes before I put it down. However, if youre a fan of those gun shooting apps, if youre creative and coils think of a game involving these phasers, or if you think it would be fun to just walk around shooting people with the phaser, you absolutely have to get this app because it is so polished. EDIT: The new version really makes the motion firing way more usable. Great job on that, it was a much needed and much appreciated update. The motion firing is actually fun to use now.

Perfect for any fan of Star Trek or fans of the gun apps that have been popular lately! Probably the best motion based gun/weapon I have bought so far!

I was bitterly disappointed. I wanted the sound effects of the phaser, but got a cheap imitation. Please include the real phaser sound in the next update. I feel ripped off. Dont waste your .99 on this one.

This is a great, simple to use little app. All you do is press a button or use it like a phaser to shoot. :) You can change the color of the phaser or change the background. Each different color phaser has their own individual sound to it. But it did take me awhile to figure out how to change the color of the phaser. The way to change the color of the phaser is you press one of the two buttons next to the middle button of the phaser. It would be really great if you add a mini tutorial because I cant find anywhere where it tells you how to change the color. Overall this is a very fun app to play with your friends. I rate this 4/5 because this does take a little time to figure out how to use it without a tutorial. EDIT: Also, some more suggestions would be to add more different colored phasers with different sounds and add some more backgrounds.

Not really for me. Maybe you can keep your kids out of your hair if you hand them this (give them headphones!). There is talk of a lazer tag game over Peer to Peer. That might make this a fun app. as for right now though i dont see myself using this. check out Nabbed Crazy Letters though by these guys its great if you take alot of photos!

Silly, fun app. It doesnt bother me at all that its not EXACTLY like the real Star Trek sounds. The thing that is a bit of a pain is that you cant switch back to the phaser screen once youve gone to the Tricorder screen. You have to exit the app and then go back in. Oh well... its only a buck.

The phaser works and the tricorder lights up. However, the phaser does not sound like a trek phaser and the tricorder does not do anything.

This app was disappointing and offensive to Trekkies everywhere!
