Star Blaster - Laser Gun Wars App Reviews

This is a great, simple to use little app. All you do is press a button or use it like a phaser to shoot. :) You can change the color of the phaser or change the background. Each different color phaser has their own individual sound to it. But it did take me awhile to figure out how to change the color of the phaser. The way to change the color of the phaser is you press one of the two buttons next to the middle button of the phaser. It would be really great if you add a mini tutorial because I cant find anywhere where it tells you how to change the color. Overall this is a very fun app to play with your friends. I rate this 4/5 because this does take a little time to figure out how to use it without a tutorial. EDIT: Also, some more suggestions would be to add more different colored phasers with different sounds and add some more backgrounds.

Its not a game, but its a pretty neat simulator.

Not really for me. Maybe you can keep your kids out of your hair if you hand them this (give them headphones!). There is talk of a lazer tag game over Peer to Peer. That might make this a fun app. as for right now though i dont see myself using this. check out Nabbed Crazy Letters though by these guys its great if you take alot of photos!

I adore this app, but am still having trouble figuring out how to get to the menu.

Silly, fun app. It doesnt bother me at all that its not EXACTLY like the real Star Trek sounds. The thing that is a bit of a pain is that you cant switch back to the phaser screen once youve gone to the Tricorder screen. You have to exit the app and then go back in. Oh well... its only a buck.

The phaser works and the tricorder lights up. However, the phaser does not sound like a trek phaser and the tricorder does not do anything.

This is awesome! A phaser and tricorder all in one app. Excellent! Too bad CBS wont let you use real sound effects but youre making it work and this is one Star Trek fan that appreciates your persistence and hard work. Note: the button for toggling between phaser and tricorder moves. The tricorder button is top right and the phaser button is bottom right but you can switch back and forth from phaser and tricorder

Not something to use on a daily occasion, but is very, very well polished. It looks great and sounds great. The upcoming updates look like it will further excel this game. So all in all, pretty good. Love the update!!

Doesnt sound like the real deal. Disappointing.

Im not gonna lie to you. I spent THREE HOURS playing with this.

Its ok but could you make it a real tricorder instead of a options menu because you said a phaser and a tricorder but when I got it the tricorder was just an options menu so can you please add a real tricorder???

I could take the un-star trek like sounds, I could take the tricorder really being the options menu. But now you want to change the name of the app from iPhaser to star blaster space wars? W T F At least we had the name... And did it have to be such a goofy name?! It wont change the app itself at all, so Im forced to either not update or deleting. Unless name changes back I will never update it. And if theres a cool update that Im forced to skip Ill also delete it...

STAR BLASTER? seriously, wow stupid name. At least you had some history of star treks phaser now this. It is infuriating. IDIOTS! DUMBOS! SCABOLIES! If you like Star Trek or The Black Hole, then this is the app for you.

Wow, the best toy ever just got a whole lot better! I love the new graphics , especially the new fire button ;-). Now I can shoot the people who said "never point that thing at me again" again! CUZ ITS NEW !!!!
